Michele Tae, Buddhist Chaplain and Director of Mindfulness Center Idaho
Michele Tae shares the many gifts of mindfulness and movement with lightness, enthusiasm and joy. She taught Iyengar yoga in Boise for twenty years, retiring in 2009. She received Buddhist refuge vows from the Venerable Pema Chodron in 1992, and was ordained as a Buddhist lay nun in Thich Nhat Hanh’s tradition in 1997. With a desire to help relieve suffering, she attended the Chaplain Program at Upaya Zen Center and was ordained as a Buddhist Chaplain in 2010 by Roshi Joan Halifax. Michele loves sharing what she has learned from her years of practice and living.
